i wish celebs would stop acting “gay” with their friends thinking it’s a show of support for the LGBT community. kissing a friend of the same gender and then giggling about it like it’s just a ~silly fun thing they did is not a show of solidarity. it’s trivializing. it’s mocking. it’s getting the hopes up of young people who are looking to see themselves in someone they admire and then being let down, yet again, to find out that nope it’s just a joke. their sexuality is just a joke. i get that these celebs want people to know they’re open and accepting but like. there’s gotta be a better way.
